　　我是一個(gè)膽小的人。

　　I am a timid person.

　　昨天因?yàn)楦邿瑡寢寧胰メt(yī)院檢查。

　　Yesterday, because of a high fever, my mother took me to the hospital for examination.

　　醫(yī)生阿姨讓我張大嘴巴，看了看我的嗓子，然后對媽媽說：“小朋友這個(gè)情況需要查血”。

　　The doctor's aunt asked me to open my mouth and look at my throat. Then she said to her mother, "Children need blood test in this case."

　　我一聽，心里一下子就緊張害怕起來。因?yàn)槲曳浅Ｅ峦?。我知道查血要被針戳手指頭。

　　我跟著媽媽到了檢驗(yàn)科，坐到凳子上。我知道應(yīng)該伸手給醫(yī)生阿姨，可是我的手怎么也伸不出去。我把兩只手都緊緊地攥成拳頭。

　　I followed my mother to the laboratory and sat on a stool. I know I should reach out to the doctor and aunt, but I can't reach out. I clenched both hands tightly into fists.

　　媽媽很生氣，使勁把我的拳頭掰開，把我的手指頭壓在桌子上。我仍然很害怕，一直用力想抽回自己的手。

　　Mother was very angry. She broke my fist and pressed my finger on the table. I'm still scared and I've been trying to pull my hand back.

　　突然，我放在桌子上的手指痛了一下，我就聽見醫(yī)生阿姨說：“好了。”

　　Suddenly, my finger on the table hurt, and I heard the doctor's aunt say, "All right."

　　這就好了？

　　Is that all right?

　　看來查血也不是我想象中那么痛呀。

　　It seems that the blood test is not as painful as I imagined.

　　以后我不再怕查血了。

　　I'm no longer afraid of blood tests.
