范文：In recent years, social network sites like QQ, WeChat and Microblog have rapidly gained popularity among people. Many people have registered and become members of these social network websites, they spend a lot of time on these sites chatting, making friends and reading articles. These sites have become a part of their life.Different people have different opinions towards this phenomenon. Some regard social network sites as a good places to share feelings and experiences with their friends. Besides, they say the sites provide many opportunities to know other people and to know what’s happening in the world and can help people relax. However, some people aren’t in favor of the social network sites. They say that people are wasting too much time on these sites. Some even get addicted to them and abandon their real life. And it is difficult to protect users’ privacy on social network sites.In my opinion, the social network sites can be very helpful as a good platform for us to make new friends and keep in touch with old ones. But we should be aware of the potential dangers involved. It is very necessary to adjust our privacy settings to control who has access to our personal information and remember that the real world is the most important in our life.
