Taking fostering interest in sports into children’s education
Exercise can bring tremendous benefit to young people not only on their physiology but also on their mentality, and enthusiasm for sports should be promoted as an integral part of their education.
One of the main reasons for improving enthusiasm for sports among youngsters is to encourage them to lead a healthy lifestyle. Playing sports can help children keep agility and fitness, as well as helping to reduce stress and improve their immune systems. Another reason for nurturing young children's interest in sports is to teach them the values of teamwork and sportsmanship. Sports whether individual or team-based, can teach children how to be sportsmanlike in competitive circumstances, such as playing by rules and be humble in victory and gracious in defeat. Finally promoting enthusiasm for sports in children is to enhance their sense of national pride. A case in point is that children who develop a stronger sense of national pride will be more willing to serve society and look after their country when they grow up to be adults.
All in all children will grow into healthy, sportsmanlike and patriotic citizens if fostering enthusiasm for sports is promoted in children's education.
